Oh My God...they are bloody adorable...what a fantastic painting, and AGAIN...briliant colours...Sandy. are these oil pastels...I do not get these brilliant colours with my semi-hard Rembrant Pastels???
ReplyDeleteHi Vesna, no these are just run of the mill soft pastels. Maybe the difference is that i spray in between each layer keeping the layers fresh in colour. i don't know about you but I can become very bogged down in thick pastel if I don't spray. that is the only thing I can think of.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply Sandy, and the e-mail...hmmm, maybe I use my too softly and I wipe them down with cotton buds...so they are more of a wash than a strong color...I'll try this thick pastel and spray technique...I'll keep you posted :)
